With the quick hitch triangle, you can hitch a tool onto a tractor in a matter of seconds without getting out of the cab. It’s also a safer and more efficient way of hitching on tools.

A male triangle is permanently fixed on the three point linkage system of the tractor. All tractor implements on the farm need to be fitted with a female triangle. The two triangles attach and are locked using a latch mechanism. To hitch off an implement, the latch is released by a handle connected with a cord to the cab of the tractor.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL POINTS
The benefits of the quick hitch system are lessened on tractors fitted with a hydraulic three point linkage as you may need to get off the tractor when hitching on in order to manually adjust the angle of the male triangle.

You can temporarily adapt a few implements to the quick hitch system without resorting to making any permanent changes to your machinery by fixing a female triangle on the three points linkage of an implement. You can then trial the triangle system without altering your original implements. However, this adds more weight to the hitching system and may necessitate the addition of counterweights at the front of the tractor.

This work is licensed by L'Atelier Paysan under Licence - CC-BY-NC-SA
or.

This work is licensed by L'Atelier Paysan under Licence - CC-BY-NC-SA
)

An innovation that changes the game. Unlike solar energy, which has long since colonized private homes, domestic wind turbines are often shunned because of their high cost, lack of profitability and irregular energy production during random, systematic winds in urban areas.

The urbolienne's 2D drawings and 3D models are made available under the terms of the TAPR Open Hardware License (http://tapr.org/ohl).
of the TAPR Open Hardware License (http://tapr.org/ohl).
)

It’s based on a spring tine cultivator, but also has an adjustable comb weeder and a hydraulically assisted drum roller.

It was developed as an alternative to PTO driven bed formers. Its working speed is 2 to 3 kms per hour. It’s a very useful tool for weed control on beds that have not yet been sown or transplanted. For destroying weeds, the tool should work just below the surface of the soil, with a driving speed of 5 to 6 kms per hour. The Vibra bed-former can also be used to destroy young green manures, if it is followed by a pass with the Bed Ridger to ensure the green manure is incorporated back into the ground. The joints and articulations make driving and adjusting the tool simple.

The entirety of this article, including descriptions, photos and technical drawings, are available for all to use under a Creative Commons licence. Its design is simple: two U shaped steel sheets (or two UPN channels) welded back to back and drilled through at regular intervals (with a centre distance of 45 mm) along the length of the base. U shaped metal clips (with two holes drilled at 90 mm centre distance) are welded onto the cultivation tools.
