Description
Introducing the DIY Plastic Compression Machine by Precious Plastic, made from a repurposed oven and a screw jack. This affordable and sustainable solution allows compress plastic waste into compact blocks, or useful objects, reducing its volume for easier transportation and storage and contributing to the recycling of plastic. It has clear instructions provided on the developper website.

Tips & tricks while making
- Look around for second hand or scrap ovens.
- Try to make the hole into the oven only as big as it needs to be. This will save on insulation.
- Have a look at the other versions of the machine before diving into these plans.
