Description
As a complementary project to the drill stand, a small drill press vice was developed here, which has the function of holding parts during drilling for small jobs in the workshop. Several examples were taken into account for the design, choosing as main reference, the Diamleon Diy Builds video on Youtube, to which some modifications were made to further facilitate the fabrication.
Technical data
Some specifications of the manufactured vice:
- Jaw Size: 130mm[Width]x51mm[depth]x217mm[opening capacity].
- Material: Structural steel angles and threade rod.
- Mounting Mechanism: Base for drilling and screwing.
- Adjustable Jaw: Screw or handle by a 13mm threaded rod and a welded nut.
