Hasta 2020, no existía una norma standard para los proyectos de hardware. En consecuencia, la documentación del proyecto era a menudo incoherente, poco clara o incompleta.
Until 2020, there were no standard for the technical documentation of Open Hardware projects. As a result, project documentation was often inconsistent, unclear or incomplete.


Por ello, OHO ha desarrollado una norma estandardizada como requisito principal para una buena documentación técnica de los proyectos de Open Hardware. Se basa en las normas internacionales actuales.
OHO therefore has developed a standardized norm as the main requirement for good technical documentation of Open Hardware projects. It is based on current international standards.
