  • Main design
    • Radial parabolic: Preferred option, the parabola offers a greater caloric power
    • Annular parabolic: More material is spent on this variant
    • Panel design: Popular initiative, but works with weak materials and is less efficient
  • Reflective coating
    • As indicated on the project page, the use of a chrome paint is preferred to achieve the reflective surface

It's indicated that the segments are joined with rivets, I suggest including washers to these, to prevent that due to the thinness of the sheet it tears due to the effect of stresses applied during the use of the equipment

Thank you for your observation, the disc is not expected to be subjected to such forces as to tear it, but the comment is good, I will take it into account for a future version

The structure is made of iron, wouldn't it be better to make it in another material such as aluminum?, which better supports oxidation

As long as the equipment is not submerged in water, it is given a good anti-rust paint and it is stored in a suitable place, oxidation will not be a problem

Part number 1.00 -- Thehunter (talk) 19:25, 25 January 2023 (CEST)

It would be convenient to place an iron ring in the inner central part of the plate, to give strength to its structure and protect the edges of the sheet

This had not been contemplated, since it is an area where there is little user interaction but it will be taken into account --Inddigital (talk) 20:17, 25 January 2023 (CET)

Part number 2.02 -- Thehunter (talk) 19:27, 25 January 2023 (CEST)

It is recommended to weld some reinforcements at the junction of these parts with the central tube, to prevent this junction from becoming fatigued over time and losing the firmness of the burner

Copied, it will be added in the next version of the plans --Inddigital (talk) 20:18, 25 January 2023 (CET)

Should these wheels have brakes?

The project is designed for a rural environment, so it would normally be on a rustic floor, where it does not require brakes, however, in a later version of the project, it is planned to add a brake to two of the wheels, it can be a kit like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/2037121-giratorias-muebles-di%C3%A1metro-rodamientos/dp/B01DDE7GHE --Inddigital (talk) 20:22, 25 January 2023 (CET)
