About OHO

The Open Hardware Observatory OHO was created by the non-profit association Open Source Ecology Germany e.V. (OSEG) and the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin). OHO consists of a search engine and of an assessment platform.

The search engine crawls Open Hardware and Do It Yourself projects in the whole WEB. It offers full text search, category search and professional search. Every user can upload his proyects on OHO.

The assessment platform is based on the DIN Spec 3105, which was created by OSEG, TU Berlin and other institutions in cooperation with the German Institute for Standardization DIN e.V. Here we offer all individuals and organizations to assess their projects.
