The OHO Project Directory

The OHO Project Directory is our extensive collection of complex mecha(tro)nical open-source hardware projects. The evaluation shown below using the Open-O-Meter shows their transparency according to the common values and standards of the Open Source Hardware Community.

Please note: OHO allows anyone interested to create project profiles (for the OHO project directory please select the option "advanced") or modify existing project pages. All that is required is registration. The OHO directory is an extensive collection of complex mecha(tro)nical open source hardware projects which was created by the Technische Universität Berlin in the context of the "OPEN! Methods and Tools for Community-based Development" project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The directory consists of:

  1. Compiled data sets of complex open hardware projects to improve the visibility of the projects and their documentation.
  2. Manually entered and curated datasets of complex open hardware projects reporting on their openness according to product and process-related criteria.

Furthermore, the directory is an important database for research in the field of open hardware. Currently, interested parties can add new projects, link documentation on existing projects or add media contents, e.g. photos, videos, texts, comments, CAD drawings, parts lists, etc.
